I am Pamela Fry, a Certified Art Therapist.
I offer strengths-focused, gentle and effective art therapy. My approach to group therapy favours a wide choice of materials, gentle encouragement, and participant autonomy. Groups function best when their needs are heard and met.

In just one year, I have provided group therapy to university students, union members, immigrant groups, grief groups, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation clients, and others.

What I hear from clients is that art therapy is the best part of their week. Unlike other therapies, which may heighten anxiety, art therapy provides palpable relief from symptoms of mental stress. It also results in self-discovery, which is an important and powerful process in managing mental health and wellness.
Kind Words from Clients
T.W., Male, Age 68
Pamela has been very helpful to me during a period of closing out a challenging period of my life and moving forward into a new life with self confidence, gratitude, and kindness. She has always been tuned in to what I was trying to communicate (sometimes before I was), and gently provided valuable guidance and insights. I’m super grateful for having had the opportunity to work with her.
L.P., Female, Age 46
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Pamela. Since our first session, I have felt that she really listens and understands me and what I share - both challenges and successes. She has provided valuable insight by asking the right questions or getting curious or noticing something in my art that help me see things in a different way.
J.I., Male, Age 69
Pamela was able to make me feel like a worthy human being - an important area of need for me. I feel the art exercises especially benefitted deepening my self-understanding. At times I felt embarrassed that such simple techniques and practices could actually help, but in fact they did help.
A.M. Woman, Age 26
I had a great experience in sessions with Pamela, and even though Art Therapy was very new to me, I got some understanding of how it works. She was very supportive, which made me feel more comfortable.
